Great report. That's crazy about the power going down.....thank goodness you got alot done in the AM.
A one day trip is definitely "do-able" (i've done it twice....see my link below). But 2+ days (& at least two nights at a hotel so you can take the mid day break) is far preferrable.....not because one "has to see it all", but because it makes it easier to zig when others are zagging & allows one to rest when the parks are most crowded.
Thanks for posting Grace....you've had a taste.....I suspect you might be back.![]()
We were there on the 18th, too, and thought the park was empty in the morning for MM and then really really crowded in the afternoon. We walked back to the GCH about 2 pm and then headed back after dinner when we had reserved seats for Fantasmic. The park had more power problems on the 19th and 20th, too. At Buzz Lightyear, the CM told us they go for months without problems and then get a bad week like last week. At least we didn't get stuck in anything. We did eventually get on the monorail, Space Mountain, Buzz and Thunder Mountain RR. All were down the first time or two we tried them over the 3 day period. That was my impression of DL, that the rides aren't nearly as stable as they are at WDW (our normal place to visit) in terms of being online.
