First Day Advice

Our flight lands at 1130 on Saturday March 11th, I am not sure how long it will take to get from airport to Portofino. Original plan was to check in, go to one of the parks, ride what we can and then do Mardi Gras parade. But, I was told the parade would be less hectic on non concert nights. So, I am thinking we should do the parade a different day. We have a 7 and 5 year old, should we just ride and see what we can that day, it will be very busy because of Spring Break. We will be there Sunday, Monday and Tuesday full days and will do HP stuff in early morning and at night. First timers to Universal, so excited!!

Can't help with your Mardi Gras questions as I've never gone that time of year, but it should take you around 30 minutes depending on traffic to get from MCO to PBH.

It's always a good plan to do the Potter stuff early or later when it's busy like that.........those areas especially Hogsmeade and the Castle look spectacular at night.

Hope you have lots of fun........having EP means you don't need much of a plan even as first timers.

It's worth reading as it has links to all menus. The hotel stickies have pictures of the hotel and all the info you should need about your stay

Look at the park layout on the UO website

Know where restaurants, restrooms, first aide, rides are located

It will be a packed park for Saturday and spring break

If you have an idea where needed things are located, you will save time and not get frustrated

Like schumi said, stickies are your friend
