First Cruise Booked July 24, 2005!!!

Hi I am new to the message board. Well actually I have been reading it for a few weeks just had to figure out the problem with my activation.

We booked our first cruise!! We are doing the Land & Sea package. I read on here how four of the navigator verandah cabins used to be cat 5 & 6 so I requested to have any of the four and I got it!!! We are in 7120. It will be my DH, DD 11, and me.

Just wanted to say hello and start our countdown.

Welcome! The land/sea package is a great introduction to cruising. You'll love it so much that you'll book another one while you're still on the ship! And of course, you'll realize that 3 days is just not enough....

Yes, I have been kinda worried that I will think 3 days aren't enough. But, my DD is looking forward to the parks a lot more then the cruise since she has never been to WDW. I have been when I was younger. But the way I figure it, go on this one, get our feet wet, and then do a longer cruise. How far in advance can you book cruises for?

If you have never been to the parks then I think you will need 4 days to visit since you can easilyy spend a day at each park.

The 3 day cruise gives you the BEST of the BEST of the cruise. You get to dine in each restaurant, see the 3 Disney themed shows (Hercules, Golden Mickeys, and Dreams) and a visit to Castaway Cay.

It will go fast, and by the end you will want to go on a 7 night! But it will be a wonderful vacation. Right now you can book though the first park of December 2006 (they haven't released the holiday dates yet).

We have been on two 3 Nights, one 4 Night, and two 7 Night Disney cruises. They are all wonderful, but the longer one are more relaxing.
