First cruise after canal

Just wondering if anyone crusing on the Sept 3, 2005 sailing realizes that this will be the first 7 day cruise since the Magic went west to California. Any thoughts as to if anything will be different on the ship? Since it is Just returning from a 14 day cruise, do you think they will still let us Board by about noon?...or do you think there will be a delay in getting the luggage....and passengers of the 14 day cruise off the ship. Any thoughts???

I'm on the 14 day ahead of you. I don't think you'll see any changes...it really is the same number of passengers to disembark. We may have a little more luggage, but that all goes off before any passengers. DCL put me on an 11:45 flight home and assured me it will be fine. I think that means they're counting on normal schedule.
The crew is extremely efficient. They'll be ready for you!

Not technically -- there were 7 night cruises while the Magic was in California

The Sept 3rd cruise will be the first CARIBBEAN cruise since May 14th though.

...do you think they will still let us Board by about noon?...or do you think there will be a delay in getting the luggage....and passengers of the 14 day cruise off the ship. Any thoughts???

We're being told disembarkation is 7:35AM so that should give them plenty of time in theory to reprovision and clean-up. Now of course that does not take into account how many of us they'll need to forceably remove from the ship (prying our fingers off verandah railings, hauling us out from under beds, etc.)
