First Communion Hairdo question

DD9 is making her First Communion at 9AM on Mother's Day. She want to get her hair styled in an updo or curls but is it possible to get that done the day before and have it still look good for Sunday?

I would check with your stylist. Sometimes (and I am speaking from knowing some girls who were in Irish Dance) they would curl the hair the day before, and then sleep with some sort of hair net on. But is was a cleraly defined process that involved about 3 cans of hairspray.

Can you find someone to come out to your house to do this in the morning? I can't do hair at all - just ask my DD. So - if it were me, that would be a route I would take.

My girls Irish Dance. I had them sleep in soft spikes curlers overnight, took the soft spikes out in the morning the day of their competition, and carefully arranged then sprayed the heck out of their hair before their competition started. It looked TERRIBLE halfway through the day, but that's probably because they were dancing around for hours, lol. Then I bought them Irish Dance wigs, of course.

A good friend put a long-curl ponytail wig (her dd's Irish Dance wig) on her dd for 1st Communion. Looked great, and lasted all day!
