When they say that room requests are satisfied first-come, first-serve, do they mean first to make the reservation or first to check-in that day.
We just had to make a new reservation for May because we wanted to switch from a 1BR to a 2BR. I'm surprised we were able to make a ressie (at BCV) only 6 months out. I guess this must be because it is a slow time of year and also because they are not yet sold out. Anyway, I'm nervous that, despite the fact that we will be checking in very early in the morning, that my room requests will be satisfied last because we booked 6 months out.
So, I'd be interested in knowing how people have fared when they book the ressie late but check-in in the AM. How has this worked out and do your odds improve if you check in early?
