First Class Comparison

Can somebody who has flown first class on a 767 AND 757 tell me the major differences?

I have only flown 1st in a 767 which was very nice, roomy and comfortable, but I am not sure that a 757 is quite the same as I have not see it. I tried looking up photos of the seats on Google, but it pulls back some insane stuff that I know is not correct.

Depends on the route.

All 767-300ERs have lie-flat suites, with 180-degree, angled recline.

Most 757s have just big, plushy (and outdated) leather seats, but some 757s have the same lie-flat suites, except they are actually one inch wider.

If you are flying the 763 internationally or on a domestic flight between Miami and California, you will get a personal, handheld television with hundreds of on-demand movies and TV shows and Bose noise-canceling headsets. If you are flying the 763 domestically (outside of Miami-California) or to the Caribbean, you will not have a personal TV.

If you are flying the 757 in the domestic configuration, its overhead TVs. If you are flying the 757 in the international configuration, the TVs are built-in to the seats.

Also, depending how recent you have flown on the American 767s, it might not be the same product. AA just redesigned the front cabins on the 763s.

I'm a big fan of AA's new business class seats in terms of comfort, but some might find them a little claustrophobic. Also, they crammed too many into the cabin, and if you have a window seat and need to use the restroom, it can create an awkward situation climbing over your seatmate if s/he has the seat in the bed position.
