First carnosaur gone in Dinosaur?

Saw this on reddit and was wondering if anyone could confirm they also saw him missing.

My mind could totally be playing tricks with me, but I seem to recall it being gone once when we rode (this was years ago) and then it was back on a subsequent visit (or perhaps I just didn't see it that one time and I'm remembering wrong that it wasn't there). Is it possible that he's sometimes removed for maintenance?

Animatronics are commonly removed from maintenance. No worries.
Now, it could very well be removed forever, but we have noticed things gone and replaced at other attractions.

When we rode it Thanksgiving week I noticed that the carnotaurus that is supposed to be "chasing" your vehicle did not move at all. I think that's the first one, right? Maybe that has something to do with it.

Again, these are OLD memories, but I also recall a time years ago when we rode and the first one didn't "run" on that occasion. Probably just a temporary malfunction if/when that happens.
