First BWV stay

We’re staying at BWV for the first time in a few weeks and I’m so excited! I adore Epcot so this is the perfect place! I have a garden/pool view studio booked, but I was wondering if it was worth going online with member services to request a particular area. I’m very much a balcony person so do enjoy sitting out there. I heard the corridors are quite long, but that doesn’t really bother us - would much rather have a nice view than a short walk to the lobby.
Anything else you think we need to know?

One request you should consider making is high floor, particularly if you want any decent view. Walk from lobby/elevator areas can be long (although hugely shorter than at AKV Kidani). Pool/garden views are those that overlook the Luna Park pool area, the Quiet pool area or the Activity Lawn (on which there is actually no activity, but rooms there overlook the canal leading to Studios and see Swan across the canal). Views are mostly decent in any of those locations as long you have a higher floor (four or five)

I agree with drusba. The reason for that request is that there are overgrown trees surrounding the property and most rooms on the lower level with have a view of a tree vs. pool/garden. Good luck!

To be clear, when I say patio view of the tree, I mean you can reach out from your patio and touch the tree which is right in your face.

I usually ask for as high a floor as possible, so will definitely do that, thank you

We stay on the DVC side and love it. Most times, we are a long way from the lobby. We like the upper floors for reasons mentioned above.
Walking to EPCOT and HS is a nice perk.
And we love walking round the Boardwalk at night. The entertainers are a lot of fun to watch.

You could request a Village Green location which may give you a slight Boardwalk view. Most of the villas with Village Green view are studios, so odds are usually good to get one of those. Just email MS from the website with your request. They should reply fairly soon that they have added your request. You might also do it via Chat.
