First booking - will this work

I just got my member number and activated my account. I bought 150 BCV points with a June use year. I was expecting the 150 current 2015 points and the 150 2016 points. I was planning a trip for June. Simple, bank the 2015 points and book the June trip with the banked points. And then book a fall or Christmas trip with the 2016 points.

Surprise, surprise, there are 78 banked points that must be used by the end of May 2016. So, I am thinking of pushing up the June trip and going in May for my DD's bday. It would be 72 points for a long weekend trip.

So, I went ahead and booked a room at AKV - Kidani with the banked 2014 points.
I also booked a trip for November, right now using my 2016 points.

I haven't banked my 2015 points, yet. I just want to make sure I don't need them. If/when I bank them, can I call MS and have them switch the points, so my November trip uses the banked 2015 points?

As long as all of your points have the same home resort then they should be able to do this- it changes a lot if you have more than 1 resort but I am reading it as all of your points being at the beach club in which case a supervisor used to be able to do this even if a regular CM could not always.

Often it depends on who you get at MS.

I would be contacting the broker who maybe didn't do their job IMO, they should know what points you are buying and it should be listed in the contract. Did they screw up, did Disney mess up with the estoppel, were the points loaded incorrectly into your account to be corrected later during an audit?

^Though not altogether clear, it sounds like ktmo got more than expected in that ktmo was expecting 2015 and 2016 points, got those, but also got 78 2014 points banked into the 2015 use year.

ktmo, as long as all the points are BCV points with a June use year, you will be able to replace 2016 points in the November 2016 reservation with points banked into the 2016 use year from your 2015 year and keep the same reservation number.

My point is Disney and the broker should have known about the banked points and they should be included in the contract. Are they real or did MS accounting screw up and give the OP someone else's points by mistake? If they did, any reservation that uses them will be canceled when Disney finds their mistake.

So, how do I find out? I called MS and they said that they are mine and I can use them. Who do I call and ask?

Your contract is what you bought, were they listed in the contract? If not contact your broker ASAP and find out what's going on.

This is a legal transaction that should be addressed.
