Forgot to mention some details in earlier posts. We booked the YC with the AP discount. We bought our APs at MCO so they would be activated and we could check in with no problems. I wasn't asked to see our APs at any time throughout the trip. Not sure if it was because the room was paid for prior to check in or not.

Also, a note about the crowds. We noticed that the parks seemed full, not crowded from Thursday-Sunday. Then, Mon-Fri, they seemed empty. We had hardly any long waits, except for the Pooh ride. Also, most restaurants we were able to walk right in without a PS or only wait about 20 minutes or less. One night, we caught a front row spot for TOD at 6:25 for the 6:30 show. The previous Thursday, we walked and walked for 10 minutes before finding a spot 20 minutes before it was to begin. I think the NJ teacher's break definitely made an impact in the beginning of our trip.

Tuesday we wake up and the baby seems much better. He's happy, smiling and wanting to move around. His usually big appetite hasn't returned yet, but he is eating a little bit several times throughout the day. It's sunny, but we decide that since we lost another day we'd hit MGM and then the pool in the afternoon. We take the boat over. We loved the convenience of not having to fold up the stroller on the boat. It was a nice ride over to MGM. We enter and liked the Sorcerer Mickey's hat. We got our picture taken and strolled toward the hat. We spent quite a bit of time in the hat looking at all of the displays. I'm not as familiar with MGM, so it takes me a bit longer to figure where we are and where we want to go. Our two missions on this day are Playhouse Disney and Millionaire. My DH wants me to go on the real show b/c he says I'd be good for at least $64,000. So, I'm curious to see how I'd do on the Play It! show. We just miss the next showing for Playhouse Disney so we grab a fastpass for the LM and run into Pooh and Tigger posing for pictures. We get them and then see there's only 2 other people in line for Sorcerer Mickey, so in we go. We forget to video Mickey, so we get right back into line. We also went back to Pooh and Tigger b/c there were no lines at all! DS loved to touch their noses and get up close to the characters. We get into LM and our DS loves it, especially the bubbles from the ceiling. Now, we can either catch the next Millionaire or Playhouse Disney. We decide on Playhouse for our DS. He thoroughly enjoyed it. He stood the whole time, even though he's not standing independently yet. He giggled and laughed and made noise throughout the show! I think my DH videotaped more of our son's reaction to Bear than the whole show itself!! But, that's what makes the memories!!

We come out of Playhouse Disney and it is literally pouring! We had commented on how the skies were clearing up before we went into the show. Our stroller is in the pouring rain. We wait it out a bit and then I get the stroller cover I bought for just such a pouring rain onto the stroller. But, the seat's wet. I buy a flannel nightshirt that I wanted and we put the baby onto that. He stays very dry under the plastic cover while DH and I dart down Mickey Ave. We grab a fastpass for the 2:30 Millionaire show. Wasn't sure we'd still be here with the rain though. Then, the baby falls asleep. We decide to have lunch at Mama Melrose's. They let us take the stroller in since the baby is sleeping. We have a very nice, quiet lunch while the baby napped. Then, we hit a few stores. Then it's off to Millionaire. We get right in with the fastpasses. I love the set and the atmosphere is exciting. The show begins and the baby is now feeling great! He's laughing and getting very wiggly. It becomes evident that he will not sit through this show so DH carries him out. I feel guilty about staying behind, so I leave too. DH said that I should have stayed since I wanted to see it so much, but I tell him that this vacation is about the 3 of us being together and I'd rather just return to the resort together.

We take the boat back and decide that we'll all try a nice afternoon nap since the pool is out of the question with the rain. The baby again sleeps until 7pm! We get up and it's still raining out. We decide to just eat at the resort. We pass the Yachtsman Steakhouse and there is no wait. We get a table and enjoy the best steak of our trip! After that, we walk through the BC lobbey and giftshop. Then, we return to the room and put the baby to bed.

Another wonderful, relaxing day. DH is happy that this vacation has a lot of relaxation and napping scheduled!!

Sounds like a great day! Thanks for posting. :)

How nice that they allowed you to take the stroller into Mama Melrose's. At least you didn't have to wake the baby in order to eat lunch.

I want to try the Yachtsmen's Steakhouse on our next trip.

Thanks for sharing your day with us, I enjoyed reading about it.

Thanks so much for your posts!! Can you tell me where you found the stroller cover?
