First Attempt

Hi all -

I have been reading the boards for a few weeks now, and checking out the DISign Boards and thought I would try my hand at it - So far I have only done one name fill -

I am using the GIMP software (It is free) and any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

I would post a link to the name fill but apparantly I have to have 10 posts before it will let me do that - (I guess i should have commented on all those TR I read - LOL)

I use paint.net and it's free also,,I would like to try gimp sometime.
keep posting we will get you to 10 posts then i think you'll be fine to post images

I hope I can get to the ten soon - I have done two namefills so far (using my twins names - LOL) and I think they came out good - I am just not sure of size etc -

I am a SAHM so I need something to do besides change diapers and clean the house - LOL And drive my family crazy by tring to schedule our August Disney Trip - (8 Adults - 2 Teenagers - 1 Six (soon to be Seven) year old and One year Old Twins -)

The twins are actually pretty good babies - they will be one on August 1st - They are right now playing nicely and watching the Noodle and Doodle Bus in Sprout - LOL We already had our Dinsey Jr. portion of the morning - (Mommy needs to switch it up a bit - LOL)

I am nervous about the plane ride with them - But with so many of us, I figure we can each take a turn with them (except for my sister, who has to drug herself to fly and she is no good to anyone)

We are going to WDW on August 25th staying till the 31st - through reading these boards I found out about the YES program and we scored the YES tickets and my nieces (the two teenagers) and I are taking the Photography class at Epcot on the 28th -

Welcome and can't wait to see your disigns. Welcome to the obsession as well. It won't take you long to reach 10 post. I have never used Paint or Gimp.

I am still getting use to PSE 10. Sometimes I forget to save certain steps for disigns so I end up having to redo them. LOL You would think I would eventually learn....old dog here....so might take me a little while.

my problem today has been, I do something and then I forget how i did it and then I have to keep teaching myself over and over - LOL

Compared to a lot of the designs I see, i don't think my can compete, but hey I am just starting - LOL

I think they are great

I especially love the Jake, Izzy and Cubby ones. Yes my DD is a massive Disney Junior fan
