First attempt at name fill :)

Well after seeing all the wonderful Disigns on here I wanted a go myself..downloaded the trial of PSE 11 last night and am rather pleased (though not perfectly) with my first attempt at somethiing....Is there any way I can add an edge around the name letters once I have done everything else as I forgot to do it so its not too clear!

Edit: Its actually quite rubbish really..but Im still pleased as my first go!

Nor rubbish at all. I remember the first time I did a name fill and how proud I was! Enjoy that feeling, you should be proud.

I use PSE 5 so I am sure there have been lots of changes but in order to get that 'edge', you can try to bevel your text, or outline it or both. You can find this under 'layer styles'. I hope this helps.

The faces are a bit mash mash..need to space them better!

Thank you I hae just done a dolphin sunset one for my son...was super quick but had to re look over tutorial just over half way through.

sometimes you just have to try different fonts as some are naturally closer together! I love PSE!!

I've done that on my sons and yes it looks much clearer..me to starting to love PSE too .. I did use it about erm..many moons ago..but have forgotten everything plus I only used it for editing photos.
