First AKV Reservation Questions

OK, we are getting ready to book our very first DVC vacation. We will be booking at AKV using the 11 month window. We will also be staying at the concierge level. My first wrong assumption was that all concierge rooms were savannah view, so now I know to request that. My family so much wants to do the sunrise safarri, but are worried will not get a savannah view.

Does anyone have suggestions for additional requests. Like a particular floor or room to request.

Your biggest challenge will be getting a Concierge room at all. AKV Concierge consists of a total of five 2BR lockoffs. They are all on the 6th floor on either side of the lobby. Three of them face the Sunset Savanna and the other two face the pool area. If you are successful in getting a Concierge reservation then by all means request a savanna view. Concierge will probably always be fully booked so 40% of those who request the savanna view are going to end up looking at the pool instead. It's best to be realistic and hope to be pleasantly surprised when you arrive!
