first Aid kit

Can i take a pair of scissors in our first aid kit.

I intend to pack it in our luggage.

any other tips for 1st Aid to take?

Anything you buy over there?

Hi Disney Owl,

It all depends on whether you want to take your kit in hand luggage or checked baggage.

CHECKED: This is fine.

HAND LUGGAGE: This is not fine. You are not allowed to carry scissors (or any sharp points) through security. However (and here's the stupid bit), there is usually a Boots in the duty free area (after security control) and you can simply buy a new pair of scissors there rolleyes: ridiculous, isn't it???!!!!)

Even nail files and safety razors need to go in the hold. Buying replacements is not really a good idea. You might have your hand luggage re-checked before you get on the plane.
