I want to pack a small first aid kit for the parks just in case (traveling with 3-yr-old and 14-month-old). I will be putting the things for the first aid kit into a ziplock bacg to save space and keep everything together. Here is what I plan to bring:

-Alcohol pads
-Band-aids
-Neosporin ointment

This may sound silly because it is such a simple thing, but am I leaving anything out?

Thanks,
Bonnie

if your kids are that young, I'd skip the alcohol pads and go for cleansing wipes instead.

benedryl strips (SMall scissors, too since those things tend to be tough to open!)

Motrin/ tylenol

"Itchy cream"

suckers LOL nothing ends tears faster than sugar on a stick!

I pack mine in a plastic soap container.
I also have butterfly band aids, gauze pads, zip lock bags, Q-tips.

I also have solarcain, aloe, tweezers, moleskin and scissors, and cough/ cold/ mucus loosener in the room.

IN reality. I"ve never touched my first aid kit LOL! BUt I know the first time I forget, I will be needing it!

Okay, cleansing wipes it is instead of alcohol pads!

I have "itchey cream" so I will include that. Oh and I forgot to mention that we will also be bringing sunblock, even though we will put it on them when we dress them, but just so that we can re-apply it throughout the day. That will just be in the diaper bag though.

Thanks,
Bonnie

We use the Band-Aid brand antiseptic foam. No need for water and nothing to throw out afterwards. My daughters thought the wipes stung too much. They're fine with this foam.

We also take: back pain pills, sinus medication.

I would just take the basics of band-aids and cleaning stuff and Neosporin. There are first aid places in the parks. I used the one at AK to get some medicine for my headache. The office was very nice and it looked like a doctor's office with exam rooms and everything. I don't think there was much they couldn't handle there. So if you forget anything or need something they can probably help you out too. Oh, and there was no charge for the medicine I got and she gave me more for later even.
