I'm so glad I looked at The Wave thread because I got to see the full menu. So DFI want to give it a try for lunch when we arrive at the world for our honeymoon. We get into MCO around 11:45am. What do you think a good time for a lunch ADR would be? Oh and we're staying at the Poly.

I guess it all depends on how you're getting to WDW from the airport. DME or renting a car? It's hard to say. If you're taking DME, depends on how busy the check in counter is, and my guess is, it's going to be pretty busy at that time of the day.

What is their latest lunch time? I would probably do an early dinner vs. a late lunch. I would say the earliest ressie I would be comfortable with would be around 3-3:30.

I agree. Early dinner would be something I would do as well. You don't want to stress out about it. Not a good way to start your honeymoon worrying whether or not you'll make your reservation.

I agree with the others. I'd make it on the later lunch/ early dinner side and then if you find you are all checked in earlier maybe go there or call and see if you can get in earlier.

We called the other day and the latest lunch seating was around 2pm. Then they close until dinner seating at 5pm. Just so you know!

I agree with the others that a 3:00 to 3:30 ressie would be as early as I'd go. Since they are closed until 5:00 I'd shoot for a 5:00PM ressie and grab a snack at Captain Cooks when you arrive at the Poly

Since their lunch ends at 2, looks like we'll be winging it for lunch then. Lunch is the only thing that really appeals to us. Thanks.

Its your honeymoon, make the ADR for 2pm. There is a great chance you'll be just fine to get there. You may be at the Poly by 1pm hopefully have your dining cards by 1:30 and then just step onto the monorail to the Contemporary. If when you get on the ME bus you don't want to go, call the DINE line and cancel. Its a new place, they'll make an effort to accomodate you the best they can.

I think I'd look at it a different way. Its your honeymoon, do you really want to stress about how your plane could be late, how the ME bus is stopping at several resorts before yours, or how long it takes to check in while you worry about whether you make your ADR or not. septbaby is right - you might make a 2:00o'clock ADR just fine, but I if it were me I would get stressed the whole time about whether we would "make it" or not. I hate that feeling and wouldn't want to start my honeymoon that way.
