Firsr time July 2015!!

So after debating Christmas or Summer, we are too excited to wait, so this Summer it is. Now to prepare. We have a premium site reserved, pet friendly. Any recommendations for Fort first timers? Do people put out any Disney themed campsite decorations in the Summer? Are campfires at the site typically banned during dry Summer months. I know there are fire pit restrictions.if we want a golf cart for two days, reserve now?

We have not camped here yet either, although I have visited the park on a couple of occasions to look around. I was there most recently back in February, and folks had decorations up. Nothing holiday-like, just what you typically see when camping. My understanding of the fire situation is that no campfires are allowed, unless they are in an approved covered fire pit. As for golf carts, I have priced them off property and they are much cheaper than WDW. I priced Kenny's last week for our trip in June, and for a week it was only going to be about $250. The only issue is the hassle of having to meet them off property, pick up the cart, take it to FW, and return the trailer to them. The bad thing is you have to do it twice, once at delivery and once at return.

People decorate year round, any lights will do.
There are times when a complete fire ban happens. The "breaking" news is always posted on the comfort stations.
Reserve your GC as soon as you know your dates. Holidays and weekends they go especially fast.
