Good afternoon FIRMies!
I'm so sorry I haven't been around that regularly in the last few days. I've been crabby and in a blue mood

and just haven't felt like myself lately. I've still been working out, though, and I told Lisa (ZP) that doing all that punching and kicking and crunching is really a great stress and tension reliever!
This morning I was up very early and did Calorie Killer and Body Sculpt, then stretched out with my Cool It Off dvd. Why do I always forget how difficult the lower body section of Body Sculpt is?!

Instructor Jen: "Now we'll do ANOTHER set of leg press..!" Me: "We're gonna !@*&%! do WHAT?!!!"
S&k'smom--Thanks for starting the thread and great job getting in your Ab Sculpt and TV workout! Which one do you do?
Hi Melanie! So you and I were working out with Jen together this morning! I just did Super Cardio Sculpt for the first time yesterday. The floor sections remind me a lot of more traditional aerobics--I haven't done ponies since the 80's! I don't know if it's just my tape, but the sound is so low I can barely hear the music. I do like the workout, though, but kept thinking how much better it'd be if Allie (it's like I'm the president of her fan club or something...) were leading it. Nancy just doesn't do it for me. She's obviously doing something right, though--I don't think there's an ounce of fat on her!
Hi Tracy! I'm glad you enjoyed CAWT--it's one of my all-time favorites, and that Emily is just as cute as a button. I think it's one of the best workouts Firm's ever done--really total-body, fun moves and good music. That one's on my Wednesday scedule!
Hi sueg! I'm glad you enjoyed your WDW trip, and a big congrats on getting right back into your workout routine! Ooooo, sleeveless shirts--I bet you looked just awesome!
Hi danica! Total Sculpt is a video I always feel the next day! Jen goes s-l-o-w and h-e-a-v-y on that one! Don't let your scale get you down! It could be something as simple as hydration combined with you working with weights. A good way to measure your progress is to take you measurements, and to just ask the simple question, "how do I FEEL?" I know that when I first started to exercise consistently, I could feel my progress earlier than I could see it on the scale. I felt stronger, had better posture and had much more of a positive outlook (endorphins?). Eventually, the scale will start to move in the right direction, especially if you're watching your caloric intake, but gauge your progress on how you're feeling and how you clothes are fitting--I think those are much more accurate measurements of your success!
Tomorrow is MCB + Abs!
Make today your best, Firmies!
