Happy New Year everyone!!! I was closing out my email, when I decided to post this. I am so pumped and ready for the New Year. I hope everyone's night was awesome!!!!! I will be getting my Cathe on later today, so I will post later

I started 2006 with Low Max.

I've been thinking about my goals this year and haven't come up with anything specific yet. But I do know I want to be fit and healthy when I turn 50 in December.

Boy, I was gonna workout yesterday, till I saw Cathe's new rotation and decided to do the rotation which starts today. It is boot camp followed by the first 5 intervals of Imax 2. She has a 90 minute workout schedule and one day rest Sunday. So, I am on my way to go work out right now and will report in later!!! I know I can do it because my body feels so, so much better.
 
Good morning guys!

I haven't posted here in so long and I have missed you all so much!!! I don't do too many videos anymore since I joined the gym three months ago but I'd love to still post with you all for encouragement and inspiration.

I did do a Cathe video on Sunday and this morning I did a Pilates video. In 2006 I'm working on lots of variety with my work outs and doing lots of toning and strengthening since I'm pretty close to goal. I still have a lot of flabby skin that I'm trying to tighten up. At the gym I do a rotation of kickboxing, boot camp, step & sculpt, ball, extreme abs and weight lifting classes. Plus I add in some days of running on the treadmill for 30 minutes. I also do some work outs at home in the mornings like biking for 7 miles, pilates and core secrets.

Lisa, Lisa, Lisa. I'm glad to see you back lady. Of course you can come here for support. We don't always do videos ( well at least I do most of the time, but I'm thinking of joing a gym too!!!!) Happy New Year.

Well, I'm done. I did boot camp and then followed with Imax 2 intervals 1-5. Boy do I feel good today. I did them back to back instead of breaking them up.

Hi all! This morning I did Muscle Max. My muscles really needed the challenge.

lisa, it's so good to hear from you again. Definitely keep us updated on your progress. You are so close, I know you can do it.

sheree', I saw Cathe's rotation too. But 90 minutes a day is too much for me. I generally work out before I eat and my body can usually only last 60 - 70 minutes before I run out of energy. Are you planning to do the whole rotation?

DD went back to college yesterday. I'm feeling my usual pangs of depression when she leaves. Fortunately, I recover more quickly each time she leaves. Only 3 months until she's back for spring break.
 
Norma, I plan on doing the full rotation!! Crazy huh. However, If 70 is enough, then why not do the video's up to that point? I don't have some of the videos listed so I know I will have to substitute. However, it seems like a really good way to kick it in gear this year, so I'm game for it!!!!
 
What are you referring to when you say "Cathe's" rotation? Is this on her website? I've started looking into her videos. I've done the Firm, I have a treadmill which I love and a norditrack, and also a bowflex, but need some motivation now and then. I'm going to buy some of her tapes, but am wondering what this rotation is?

Remember me??? Cindy from the path of Hurricaine Katrina. Well, after falling off the exercise wagon for 4 months (since the storm), I am happy to report that I am starting afresh in 06. Did SCC with Pam today. Boy, did I lose all muscle strength and stamina!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been reading the posts whenever I get a chance and have missed ya'll.
It feels good to be back. I also got a catalog of exercise videos in the mail. Cathe was all over that thing....I may have to give her a chance after I build up some stamina again.....

Needed:

* One 20 oz bottle of water per every 60 minutes of exercise (in addition to your daily intake)

* 90 minutes a day 6 days a week

* Your best game face

* A Go For It attitude

Ready???? Get set....GO!!!!



WEEK ONE:

Monday: Boot Camp plus 1st 5 intervals of IMAX 2

Tues: Low Max plus CTX Kickbox (cardio Only)

Wed: Warm up and 1st 5 intervals of Interval Max plus the 2nd half of MIC.

Thurs: High Step Challenge plus 1st half of MIC

Fri: IMAX 3

Sat: A hardcore EXTREME workout of your choice

Sun: A nice soak in the tub!



WEEK TWO:

Mon: A hardcore EXTREME workout of your choice plus 400 walking lunges and 500 sit ups

Tues: Kickmax plus Low Impact Step cardio only

Wed: Muscle Max plus 20 min interval run

Thurs: Low Max plus the 2nd 5 intervals of Imax 2

Fri: 1st half of MIC plus legs and glutes

Sat: Pyramid Upper Body plus 30 minute run

Sun: Back in the tub!


WEEK THREE:

Mon: A hardcore EXTREME workout of your choice plus segment one of Core Max

Tues: Muscle Endurance plus 400 jumping jacks, 10 minutes of jump rope, and 5 minutes of calf stretching

Wed: Body Max

Thurs: Cardio Kicks plus 30 minute run

Fri: Step, Jump, and Pump plus segment three of Core Max

Sat: Triple Threat (3 consecutive CTX's, cardio only, of your choice)

Sun: Soak in tub while giving your muscles a good pep talk!



WEEK FOUR:

Mon: Circuit Max plus CTX 10/10/10 (cardio only)

Tues: Imax 2 plus 30 min bike ride (or other cardio)

Wed: Power Hour plus 400 walking lunges, 500 sit ups, and 10 sets of 8 push ups

Thurs: KPC plus 500 jumping jacks, 10 minutes jump rope, and 5 minutes of calf stretching

Fri: Body Max

Sat: Imax 3 plus a 30 min interval run

Sun: Soak muscles while giving them a high five (ouch not too hard) for a job well done!


Please note: If you have not worked out at all during the month of December or just not feeling fairly conditioned in general due to whatever reason, cut back your workouts to 60 minutes 4 to 5 days a week or simply choose a less vigorous rotation this month
 
She is trying to kill people in that rotation, but I expect that it will really tone, tighten and shape.

Just reading about the Cathe rotation, wow that sounds brutal! I'm home the first part of the week but I'll be back at work on Thursday and able to go to the gym. It's a corporate gym at my job so I make do with work outs at home when I'm taking a few days off. Today I'm doing a 45 minute core secrets work out. I am liking it somewhat. That Gunnar guy is getting on my nerves a bit but I just ignore him and concentrate on the crunches or whatever ab work we're doing. I like that you use weights with it too and balancing on that stability ball is really helping me with my tummy and thighs and those are two areas I'm really focusing on right now.

Despite being sore from yesterday's workout, today I did Step Blast and the step portion from Step, Jump, and Pump. I needed to burn off some extra calories from the chocolate that keeps finding its way to my mouth during PMS.

Cindy, so glad to see you posting again. I'm sure you'll get your strength and stamina back soon. I hope all is well with you, your family, and your co-workers at the hospital.
 
Good afternoon all. I did both low max and ctx kickboxing, just the cardio this morning. After low max, I barely had the strength!! However, I did it. 90 minutes with her is brutal!!!!!!!! Ah well, at least it's done.

I'm off to go find me some lunch! I couldn't eat till I finshed with the dr. Have a good one.

Well, ladies, I am not doing well on the exercise/diet front. I ate way too much food yesterday (Taco Bell) and I've had too many carbs today. I haven't worked out in over a week and I'm starting to feel blah.....

However, I am looking for my motivation.... if anyone finds it, please let me know! :magnify: :rotfl:

Thanks for the kind welcome back!! Everything is pretty much back to normal, thanks for asking Norma.

Can I tell ya.......My quads and butt are so sore today that walking is a challenge!!! Rest day today and Firmin' again tomorrow.

Anyone know whatever happend to Kim????? I miss reading her posts...I know her medical problems had flared up again and I hope she is okay :confused3 .

Hi everyone! This morning was Step, Jump, and Pump. It wasn't my best effort though; my energy level was very low. I think maybe I'm not eating enough.
