Fireworks

I was wondering does Universal have fireworks or anything like they do at Disney (wishes, illuminations, or spectromagic)?
I have never been to Universal and have been reading the DIS forum obsessively trying to find out everything.
This forum was a huge help on my last Disney Trip. I had everything planned and it was a great trip. Keep up the great work!!

unless there is a special event, UO doesn't have any nightly fireworks performances like WDW. Margi Gras is coming up, however.

Welcome aboard.
Summer fireworks happen from July 4th thru the 1st week of August, at 09:55pm. And for special events like sping break.
Last year it was at USF only. Still don't know if they'll switch back to IOA this year.
Both shows are different and worth seeing. IOA is done over the lagoon, and there's a story to the show, a battle.
The one at USF has jaws and ET music playing.
