We're headed over to MK on Wed, Sept 21 which is a non-MNSSHP night sandwiched in-between party nights. Its also an extended evening hours night. With these 2 things potentially pulling in more crowds how early would you grab a spot for the fireworks? (Decent view but not front and center.)

If it’s when the park is open to all guests -early!! 90 mins?? Went to a similar evening in 2019 and it was unbearably busy. It wasn’t ‘extended hours’ but it was late and it was crazy busy since so many nights are party nights in Sep.

We ended up not doing anything (no spits for fireworks, small world 60 mins, People Moved 45 mins) so we cut our losses and left.

Non-party nights in Sep can be very busy in the MK.

Fireworks crowds are amoeba-like. They aren't static. I start looking on the edge of a walkway somewhere about 30 minutes before. The crowds have a tendency to compress the closer you get to the start.

While I enjoy the show, the whole thing is stressful because of the crush of people.

For some, this is a high-stakes event, the "crowning jewel" of their visit. It's at the end of the day when many are exhausted and not in a great mood.

The bigger your group, the harder it is. No matter what you do, bring a lot of patience!
