Yes, the park has fewer trees than DL Park and there are few locations I have experienced and also seen reported over the years. Keep in mind they are starting with Mickey's Mix Magic this Summer which is not much of a fireworks show.
The balcony at Carthay Circle can be cool but. In the past you could either try for a late night table out there, or I have read reports that those dining inside were also welcome to come out on the balcony just before the show. I haven't seen recent reports to confirm this since reopening.
Just outside Carthay on the walkway (around the backside Grizzly Peak waterfalls photo spot) can be decent. You are looking down Buena Vista Street and basically in-line with the Train Station at DL.
Pixar Pier along the Boardwalk outside Toy Story, for a longer distance view of aerials.
Again, for Mickey's Mix Magic, not sure any of these spots will be that good.
