Fireworks viewing at the CG

I know if you eat at the CG, you can go back later in the evening to see the fireworks from the deck. What if your reservation is AFTER the fireworks? Can you go early and watch the fireworks, then go in and have your dinner? Our ADR is for 9:15, the fireworks are at 9:00 that night.

It's or first night there and so I thought it would be a great start to our anniversary trip. That is if Hurricane Ike isn't dumping buckets of water on us next weekend!
