I have posted this thread on the Disney parks and attractions forum as I did not know which one was the most appropriate. I am sure it will be moved if it is not in the correct forum.[/COLOR][/I]
We will be visiting the 4 Parks when we are on our Disney cruise on Wednesday 25th July. The parks you probably know are MC, AK Epcot & Hollywood. I would be obliged if you could tell me if the fireworks are on every night or if they are only on certain nights at each park. We will probably finish off at Magical Kingdom, so hopefully we will be able to catch the fireworks before heading back to the ship. Thanks

The fireworks are at different times depending on the time of year. What date are you going? Also it seams like you have not been to WDW before. All four parks in one day you are not going to see much. Go spend sometime on the theme parks board to get the most out of your visit.

Marla Hellwig Thanks for your very helpful links here .

Dear sissy_ib sorry if I confused you but yes you are quite correct, in no way would I attempt to visit 4 parks in one day. Perhaps if you read my post you would also have noticed that I did give the date we are to be visiting one of the 4 parks valid in our Park hopper. What I was really asking was, as I was advised that the fireworks are only on certain parks on certain days, I wanted to plan the fireworks around our schedule when we tackle the 4 parks LoL mind you, I believe it has been done. I am a fast mover. I only want to see the parks this time around, as it is included in the cruise fare. We may or may not try and take something from more than one park. What I won't be able to do is be at the 4 parks all at the same time, but then again????????. Just having a bit of Disney fun. Hope you don't mind

There are fireworks scheduled nightly at both Magic Kingdom (Wishes) and Epcot (Illuminations). Times for these vary from day to day, though Illuminations is almost always 9p.

Also, DHS began showing Fantasmic on a nightly basis back in October, after a year or two of showing it on select nights only. Fantasmic is not a fireworks-based show, but it does have fireworks in it. Times for this also vary, and it is also sometimes offered twice on the same night.

Animal Kingdom has no fireworks of any kind.

And I still can't understand if you're trying to do four parks in one day or not. :confused3

I'm totally confused too...but you would get more answers on the park boards.

There's a calendar for July here which shows times for all the fireworks shows, which parks have extra magic hours, etc.

O.K. for these who have answered my question regarding the Fireworks at the parks I have mentioned, may I thank you for the information provided to allow me to choose which park to be in when the fireworks and displays are on including Animal Kingdom which I am aware now do not have fireworks so in the evening we won't be in that park.

For those who I seem to have confused, let me explain to those who do not already know. As part of the cruise fare on the 8 night sailing from new york a 4 park hopper ticket at WDW is included in the cost of the cruise fare.

I know that to get the best value of the ticket we would require longer but unfortunately we only have the one long day 6 am till midnight in Port Canaveral therefore if we want to see the fireworks, the information given here will allow us to make a decision where to be if we want to see a certain show. The transport is also included to and from the port so we may get dropped of at one park in the morning ie Animal kingdom and finish in the late evening in Magical Kingdom where we would get picked up to take us back to the ship. It would be perfectly feasible if we wanted to do all the parks as a taster for the future but I have never said that it was our aim to cover every square inch of every park in one day. Finally I am grateful for the direction that I have been given by all posters, as my main objective was, when and where the fireworks would be to allow us to reserve the appropriate transport pick up point to go back to the ship. My apologies for the long winded reply and the confusion of my first post but the Title of the Thread was Firework times at WDW

Epcot ALWAYS ends with Illuminations, most nights at 9 PM, although on some busy days at 10 PM

The Magic Kingdom has fireworks most nights, (In July, I'd say all nights, but too lazy to look)

If you've never been to any of the WDW theme parks, I'd recommend the Magic Kingdom just because it's the heart of WDW. Wishes is a good show (But ours out in Disneyland is better :)

Illuminations is better than Wishes, but Epcot is a different theme park than the MK.

Fantasmic is a poor choice for firework viewing.

For the record, it is possible with Illuminations at 9 and Wishes at 10 to watch Illuminations at the rear of the "front and center" viewing area, and as soon as the show is over, quickly but safely walk to the Monorail(s) and you will most likely be on Main Street before Wishes starts. I wouldn't recommend this will small children, strollers, baggage, slow walkers, etc..

Personally, I prefer to watch Illuminations somewhere near UK, as soon as it ends, quickly bolt to Rose and Crown and get a drink before they shut down, and after you are finished, walk the long way around to the exit of Epcot with most of the people gone.
