Hello
We are taking our first trip to DL next month :yay:
We have a four day base ticket. From what I can tell the only day they are
having fireworks are on our DCA day. Is there a good place to see the fireworks
from DTD? or maybe somewhere else
Thank You and I appreciate any help

Hmmmm not really. I know you can see the fireworks from the top of the Mickey and Friends parking structure but you won't get the music or see the castle projections. If you want to see them I suggest switching your days but be advised that fireworks are frequently canceled for wind.

Lots of people like to sit on the ground in the Esplanade, the area in between DCA and DLR entrances. There is always like 40 or so people there sitting and watching the fireworks from there.

In downtown Disney people congregate to the right of Tortilla Jo's, there's a gap there inbetween the building for Jo's and the building that used to be House of Blues.

A little bit further down from there right before the Lego store is another large gap between buildings, lots of people stand there too and watch the fireworks.

How much can you see? I've never tried this.

You can basically see all the fireworks, just don' see any "extras" or hear the music. We have watched from the esplanade many times even as passholders when we want to get home but want to catch the fireworks and not deal with the main st stampede.

I'll have to try this sometime.

You can see the higher up fireworks, but you won't be able to see any of the effects on the castle or really hear the music. It's an interesting alternative view, but it's not really ideal if it's your only chance to see fireworks. This is the view from the Esplande:

You can also see a few of the higher up bursts from inside DCA (along BVS).

Thanks everyone for your help. We're not able to change our days so I guess we'll make the best of it from
the Esplande. Thanks again! :)
