Fireworks on New Years Eve- Downtown Disney/Parks

Can anyone tell me where the fireworks will be on New Years Eve? Are they at all of the parks? Will there be fireworks at Downtown Disney?

They have an extra special presentation of Wishes at Magic Kingdom. Its incredible.

AK does not have fireworks for New Years Eve, they still close early, but MGM, Epcot and MK will. Downtown Disney, in past has had fireworks at Pleasure Island (special ticketed event) but I have not heard what the plan is this year with all the construction. A good idea, if you are going to be at WDW for more than just NYE... MK does the full NYE offerings on Dec 30 and Dec 31. If you go to MK on the 30th you will get to see the fireworks and have the experience and then go to Epcot or MGM on NYE.

Epcot on NYE is amazing. Each country did their own fireworks then they put on a show together followed by illuimanations. My hat was bouncing up & down on my head. I've never seen fireworks like that. I've heard that MGM puts on a fantastic show also. Whatever you choose have a magical NYE.

Thanks for the advice. I was wondering if you can see the Pleasure Island fireworks from Sartoga Springs? We are staying there and I don't think that we will make it to a park for midnight with our 3 year old. Maybe Grama can watch him while we go back to a park, but will we be able to get it? Won't they be crowded?

If they do them this year at PI (with all the construction that is going on)... yes you can see them very well from Saratoga, but you will have to have a room facing the lake or walk out to the lake so that the buildings don't obstruct your view.

Also, just FYI if your little one can make it you have some other options earlier in the night for fireworks. MK does Wishes at 8:30pm and then they reload and present Fantasy In the Sky at midnight (on both Dec 30 and 31) and Epcot does IllumiNations at 7:30pm and again at 11:40pm on NYE
