Fireworks noise OUTSIDE of MK?

One possible member of our possible grand gathering group is sensitive to the noise from fireworks. If we were to take the Magical fireworks voyage from the CR how noisy would the fireworks be vs. being inside the MK to view them.
Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

I have hyperacusis, and for me, it depends on which way the wind is blowing. At certain times, I've had problems even when watching as far away as the Polynesian. Shooters headphones help me a lot (the kind that filter noise electronically).

They are just as loud, the noise carries across the water.

I can clearly hear them at my house about ten miles as the crow flies from the launch points.

you can hear Epcot and DD fireworks from OKW; I don't how far it is, but it's a ways.
I'd suggest either ear plugs or noise dampening ear protectors (like werre already mentioned).
