Fireworks.. no fun.. :(

OK, now that fireworks is the biggest money maker, people like me cant play worth anything. my normal average score, if i can get to level 5, is about 210,000 so with all these good players comeing out to play, i cant even get past the 3rd level, because my normal score of around 110,000 gets me in 8th place. This is a sad fireworks day for this VMKer. (plus I will never be able to get fireworks pin either )

Hang in there. The elevated credits are just for this month, and I think it's the same with the ice? Keep practicing, and I'm sure it will die down and you'll be able to get your fireworks pin!

Yeah, with the bounty of credits being offered by fireworks, the big guns have really come out! You have all seen my scores, and even if i make a mistake i am in danger of not making it to the 5th level. The ironic part is that you will have 4 players stop at 240k and then 1 person winning with like 245k. everyone wants the second through fifth place credits. I dont know why they dont offer a bigger payout for fireworks, but my theory is they offer the special prize rather then credits. So this month is 2 ice blocks. Next month might be a costume, or whatever the theme is. Eh, i still like the 1900 credits better.

Yeah, I'm in that category of actually being able to play for the credits, but just barely. Just like puckstopper I make a big mistake, or a few small ones, it's sayonara for me.

My average score is about 230,000 and the other day I didn't even make the third round because there were so many good players playing!

What's really bad is that to get really good at a level you have to play it over and over. So if I ever do make it into level 4 then I don't have a prayer. I can't get good enough at it to advance because I rarely get to play it and learn the order of the fireworks.

Oh well, I figure the pros will get bored in a week or two and I don't need much of a break to become competetive again. I made it to level 5 a couple of times today.

Well my average score if I make it through the 5th round is like 200000 and I am excited with that. Now I don't even make it to the third round.

i am feeling this pain too. i have no hope competeing against all those very high scorers i get knocked out pretty darn past. i average 220,000 - 240,000 but that seems to not be anough by the time i am climbing up! oh well...
