Fireworks July 4th San Diego

We are staying at a hotel in Hotel Circle on the 4th. We would like to be abel to watch fireworks somewhere with the kids. I have heard that some beaches have them, but where and how do I find out times ect?!?! Help, my family will be so mad at me if we dont' find some fireworks
