Fireworks in front of the castle

Can you still sit between the castle and the partners statue to watch fireworks. My brother was there tonight and said that it was roped off with benches. Is that an everyday thing or was that a special event?

yeah thats the priority seating for fireworks...theyve been putting it there for awhile now

How do you get priority seating for fireworks? Is it when you book a particular tour? If so which one and is it worth it?
