How would the view be from Mythos? Are they still open at the time of execution? Thanks

I'd say the best view would be from the JP Discovery Center. The view from Mythos will be good, I am not sure if it's open but I believe there are employees who work there who are on here so they would know.

At a Universal meet, a group met at Mythos and afterwards, we went outside beside the lagoon to watch the fireworks. Even if you don't eat at Mythos during the night, you can still get a good spot by the lagoon.

WE have watched the fireworks from behind the JP discovery center, and behind/beside Mythos by the lagoon. Both spots were great. You don't have to go in Mythos. If you're walking toward Mythos (with Mythos to your left) there is a stone stairway that takes you back behind to restaurant to the lagoon. Lots of people watch from back there.

From what I've heard don't try this during New Years fireworks. That area is reserved for the people that have eaten there for dinner. They will give you a wrist band and only those people will be allowed in that area.
