I have a 8:20pm Cinderella's Royal Table reservation in mid-October. How long does dining experience take? Should we try to rush and see fireworks outside or eat leisurely and try to watch from inside the castle? Can you see anything from inside? Is there a balcony? Should I show up to my reservation early to see if we can be done early so we will have time to get a good spot for fireworks?

There is no balcony. The view of the fireworks from inside ranges from "not great" to "not at all." If seeing the fireworks is important, you want to be outside.

- You can try to show up early but every time I did, I was told to come back 10 minutes before my time.
- Check in and wait for them to call your name.
- You will then go into the foyer area and wait again for them to call you to get in line to meet Cinderella.
- After you finish that you will go upstairs.
- Our dining portion of the meal usually takes 45-60 minutes.
- Overall at lunch/dinner it has always taken us start to finish around 1.5 hours.

View, very few tables are by the windows and all you will see is the far off high ones, missing half of the show.
There is no viewing area and you are to stay at your table, most of which have no view.

To give you an idea ...............

THESE ARE FROM A TABLE THAT IS ACTUALLY BY THE WINDOW, half the show at best.

YOU CAN SEE HERE THE ROOM AND HOW FEW TABLES ARE AT WINDOWS
AND HOW MANY ARE SET BACK or ON SIDES WITH MINIMAL VIEW OF SKY

I think that whenever you book your meals to include views of the fireworks, you have to determine what your priority is. The meal or fireworks. WIthin the parks, there is never a promise you can view the fireworks from inside a restaurant, so I always try to allow enough time to have a delay, dine and then find our spot outside.

I doubt you will get seated early...like someone else said, we have always been told to come back 10-15 minutes prior to our ADR time.

Last time we were there in December, Cinderella wasn't. So we saw no one downstairs.

Last time we were there, we were allowed into the roped off area for where they restrict guests because of getting ready for Wishes to get to our ADR. We were seated along the right side upper level of the windows. We had an ok view of a lot of the show. Now, we have seen Wishes many times so our goal of being there at that time was not to see Wishes. If your goal is a great view during dinner, you won't get that in the castle. But it is still a really pretty sight from inside the castle.
