I could hear them booming and banging... and just caught the very top of the really high ones... basically just a quick flash/glimpse....

Definately no good views from AKL

Not the MK, but the Epcot fireworks, yes.

Yes, you CAN see parts of the Illuminations fireworks (the higher aerials) from the AKL. You wan to go to one of the observation decks on the 4th, 5th, or 6th floor that looks out over the pool. As long as the weather is good, you CAN see them from there.
