Fireworks dessert party - yes or no?

Looking for something special/different to do this trip. Our family has a sweet tooth and this happens at our normal fireworks viewing location choice. Is the dessert party worth the $$$$?

I'd also like to know as my group of 4 adults are going in Oct. We also like to try new things. The reviews I read so far were not positive at all for the amount of money involved. But maybe I missed some good ones.
