Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Viewing Questions

What time do you recommend getting to Tomorrowland Terrace for the dessert party when Wishes starts at 9:00? Are tables assigned for the Dessert Party with Plaza Viewing or first come, first serve? If they are first come, first serve, are there plenty of tables? Any info. is greatly appreciated!

I went last year they tell you what time it opens and I got there at opening waited about 15 minutes to get in was seated on the top level no assigned seat you just sat where you wanted then they would bring you down to where the old FP was

We are going in May and plan to show up at 7:30pm (1 1/2 hours ahead of Wishes)

I think the lower level tables are reserved for the people who are staying in Tomorrowland Terrace to see Wishes. The second and third levels seemed to be for the Plaza viewing people. We went in December for a Plaza view dessert party. We went in around 8 for a 9 PM Wishes, and there were several available tables, and we were escorted to one on the second level by a CM. There were plenty of desserts and drinks, which were kept well stocked. There was an announcement about escorting people to the Plaza viewing area around 8:40, but we weren't quite ready to leave yet. A CM said not to worry and to feel free to stay longer. When we were ready to leave, about five minutes before Wishes, a CM escorted the three of us to the Plaza.
