Hi,

I am brand new to the boards and was wondering if anyone can help me with the Fireworks Dessert Party for viewing the Wishes Fireworks. Has anyone done both or these before and could tell me the difference between the two and maybe which one they prefer over the other. Also if you have done either do you believe it's worth the price. I have been to Disney World before numerous times but my girlfriend has not so I am trying to make her trip magical as possible. Thanks again for any input.

No, I just posted a review. I don't think it's worth the price at all.

You can get the same firework view by picking your spot early. Desserts are very mediocre, like 3-day old minatures you can get at a grocery store.

Plaza view you are moved to another nearby area to stand in a gated area behind non-party guest who are on the sidewalk area in front of the party guests.

Terrace view you stay seated at your table on the terrace.

We loved the Plaza Garden viewing party. You begin with desserts at Tomorrowland Terrace then they escort you to Plaza Garden to see the fireworks. I recommend going to the back rail in the garden as there will be no one in front of you and the view is spectacular.

We have done the Tomorrowland Terrace viewing party twice, and have it booked again in a couple of weeks! Whether or not it is "worth" the price is a very individual thing, but we love it. :) It is really nice to check in, get seated, and enjoy some dessert while waiting. Once you are checked in, you are free to come and go with your wristband. Last time, we had some dessert, then my DD and I did some shopping on Main Street while DH and DS stayed and relaxed. It is so nice to just sit and enjoy the fireworks. It is not a straight-on view of the castle, so if that is important, you may prefer the Plaza viewing or finding your own spot. We think it's a great place to enjoy the show!

The GF and I ended up doing the plaza viewing fireworks dessert party. We thought it was worth it as we had a fantastic view of the fireworks and was able to lay down on a blanket we brought into the park. The desserts are so-so but we went for the view and not having to worry about standing in a crowd.
