Hi,
SO since it doesn't look like I can get a resort room with both water pageant and fireworks view, how about a fireworks cruise instead? Is the water pageant thing even worth it? Is it better to view that somewhere else and get the firework view room from the contemporary?

We did the HEA fireworks cruises in December with our group of 8, and absolutely loved it. The view of the fireworks from the Lake was magical, and far exceeded our expectations. Just a note they won’t always do the electric pageant as part of the boat cruise, it depends on what time it is at.

It is expensive, but if you have money to spare and want a special experience we did think it was worth it.

Otherwise, I wouldn’t sweat not having a fireworks view from your room. There are plenty of great, free, viewing locations. Poly beach in nice weather is a favorite of ours.

The water pageant is cute but not something I'd plan around. You can see the pageant from any of the Seven Seas Lagoon hotels- Poly, GF, Contemporary, WL, as well as the TTC. I'd focus on a fireworks view room and then see the pageant on some other night, if it fits your plans.

Our family did the MK fireworks pontoon cruise in June. It was fantastic, and I highly recommend it if you’re interested in a lovely time cruising Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon. The CM was very friendly, and the cruise around the water was relaxing prior to sunset and the pageant/fireworks. We had a view of the water pageant near Poly and then had a great view of MK fireworks at the end of the cruise. Snacks (chips and sweets) and sodas/water are provided. I think you can bring your own food (we were planning to get quick serve in Contemporary to bring on the pontoon but ended up eating it beforehand). Hope this helps, and if you decide to do the cruise, I hope you have a great time!
