Fireworks Cruises

Hello all- does anyone know the best phone # to book a fireworks cruise? We are staying at Wilderness Lodge. Not sure if I call the resort directly or call the WDW-PLAY. If it's WDW-PLAY, which option?
Thank you!!!!!!

No specific option as I recall so I hit the one for the carriage rides, etc.

Will someone take your picture, is there a photopass/memory maker photog on the dock by any chance?

This response may be too late, but it's option 3, then you remain on the line as a selection for the second option. It's not very clear which option to select based on what they say. I got the over 2 hour wait message this morning, but someone came on the line just after an hour's wait. OTOH, I've had over 60 minutes quoted and been on the line more than 2 hours. YMMV,

Good luck!

Question about the fireworks cruises: is the water calm? Does the boat rock a lot? We have one in our party that is prone to motion sickness.

No photographer there, but our captain took our picture with my phone on our last fireworks cruise.
I believe I read that cast members were once again allowed to use your phone with the lifting of certain Covid protocols.

No photopass but I read that cast members are allowed to take photos again. Keep in mind, tipping the captain is not required but much appreciated.

We did that and ended up having the call answered by the Internet Help Desk person. Crazy how it is working these days. Persistence is key.

The cruises take place on shallow man-made lakes.

The Epcot fireworks would be on Crescent Lake. It is not big and the movement while underway is smooth. There might be a little movement while you are stationary during the fireworks. I would not describe it as rocking, but there may be some bobbing.

The Magic Kingdom fireworks would be on the Seven Sea Lagoon. It is larger than Crescent Lake and there is more potential for movement as the MK and resort ferries are on that lake. Again, I do not think you would experience rocking.

They are likely to be fine, but for some people even a little movement can be problematic. Have they ridden the ferries or friendship boats and had problems?

To be certain, that person may want to take some Dramamine or Bonine.

Anyone know how much they are charging for the EPCOT cruise?

They start at $399 + tax

Our boat captain took our picture using our camera. Epcot lagoon in the background. We were happy with it, it was a nice picture!

What is the best way to get back to Copper Creek from YC after a fireworks cruise?

If the Studios are open later than Epcot, boat or walk to Studios and take the bus to CC

If Magic Kingdom is open later than Epcot take the bus from YC to MK and transfer to CC

If the Studios or Magic Kingdom are not open later than Epcot (likely) take the bus to Disney Springs and transfer to bus to CC

Lyft/Uber

Thank you for the info. One more question...Do they let people walk back through Epcot to take the monorail?

We did the Epcot fireworks cruise but were staying at the YC. However, we did have late night reservations at California Grill and used a Mears taxi (needed the accessible vehicle). The time it saved and the direct door-to-door service was worth it. I believe with tip it was less than $20.

Can they accommodate 6 people?

Does anyone know the circumstances under which it would be more than $399, and if so, about how much more?

My guess it would be more on certain holidays, but we're looking at a non-holiday Saturday night in early December, and trying to persuade the other members of our group that it's affordable. Would be nice to know for sure the total cost+tax+tip on our planned day for certain.

Haven't yet had time to call and get a definitive answer; was hoping someone had knowledge.

Thanks!

Yes, they use pontoon boats.

Their website just says $399 and up. You would need to call and ask about the specific date you wanted to see if the price was higher.
