Fireworks Cruise October

I have just found out that the evening of my Intimate Wedding is also the same night as MNSSHP. I had planned on trying to reserve Grand Yacht 1 to view Wishes, since it is MNSSHP I understand Wishes will not be scheduled that night. Can anyone tell me if they still have fireworks on MNSSHP nights and if so what is the display like and is it still worth trying to hire Grand Yacht 1 to view them?

Any help on this would be great.

The fireworks on the evening of the MNSSHP are spectacular. I held a Welcome Party at the Grand Floridian on the night before my custom vow renewal. A MNSSHP was being held that night so my guests were treated to a better-than-usual fireworks show. I'm also getting married in an intimate ceremony during MNSSHP and am having our dinner at the California Grill. My EM told me that they have no idea what time the fireworks would be at. The park closes at 6pm with the "special event" following. Could you tell me approx. what time the fireworks were during your welcome event? My wedding is on October 5th. Thanks!!!

I have an old MNSSHP brochure from a few years ago in one of my on-line photo albums: click here. It stated that the fireworks began at 9:15 PM.

Judging by the time-stamp on the fireworks photos from my Disney photographer, that was the time the fireworks began during my event in October of 2004.

I don't know what the fireworks schedule will be for this year, but if Disney follows past history, the MNSSHP fireworks will begin around 9:15 PM (give or take 15 minutes).
