Fireworks credit change??

Came in 1st and won another Fireworks Magic pin. Also got 1000 credits instead of the 375. When did this change or has it been like that for a while and I didn't notice before? Here's a pic.

Interesting... it definitely wasn't like that even the other day. I got home late from class and didn't play VMK today except a run through of Phinny's quest at the last minute, so I have no personal examples of the scoring today.

What was the bonus for winning? That message is referring to you being over 240,000 points, so I'm assuming there was a second message for winning. If it was, what kind of credits did you get for that?

And to anyone who had over 240,000 but didn't win-- were the payouts still the same?

That's also the message that I get when I score over 240,000 and don't come in first. Things hadn't changed for me as of late last night.

This has happened to me before, I believe. The first time I got over 240,000 I was in first place, and I got no fireworks magic (of course). That happened to me 3 or 4 more times in a row, and it gave me the message about winning 1,000 credits, and the Fireworks Magic Pin. I was thrilled I had gotten my Fireworks Magic anyway

I have gotten that messege once before after I got first place a few times. It had some thing about coming in first yet again. It gave me the 1000 credits and fireworks magic. I was surprize that I got it. But I do know if you get over 240,000 you do get 1000 credits but can't come in first place. You only get 675 credits for coming first. Which is really kinda of weird that you don't get more credits for coming in first place.

So, now that we've established just who is gumming up the fireworks with the excellent players, how about laying low for a while and let the rest of us get past level 3?

Seriously, I play my behind off and wind up thrown out round three! Very annoying. I don't consistently score above 240K, but with you folks around, I don't have a chance! It takes a lot of games of fireworks for a Jafar hat at 150 credits per game!

This would be a perfect weekend for all of you to take a, uh, break from fireworks. Check out pirates and earn some keys, or something!

I'm one of those people your frustrated with because I blow the curve and keep you from getting past L3. Sorry. But I need my credits too. Sos you know I am off from work on Tuesday and Thursdays and I normally play 10-30 games throughout the day then. Any other day you'll find me playing 5-10 games in the evening after 7p VMK Time.

With that said, I didn't play FW at all yesterday. I just sort of hung out in VMK instead. Come to think of it... I played only 1 game Wednesday night, and only played a handful of games on Tuesday...

Hmm... I've been slacking, I guess I got to get back in there and get my credits up for Monday!



Of course, I can't play until tonight...

I actually saw you in game twice this month... Once in Miakoda's room - you left the room just as I was entering (you two had just finished trading). The other time we were in Fireworks playing at the same time. I saw your name on the scoreboard, but didn't see you in the Lobby afterwards, different instance I guess.



Anyway, to get this thread back on topic - I sent you a PM. I need to play Fireworks tonight and try out the "new" scoring. lol

Grumpy Disney Dad is who I'm mixing you up with...and I have NO idea why. I think because he was hanging out in my room last night while I was trading for the gold snowman (that was a long process ) and he wasn't playing fireworks because of that - so I was thinking it was you...and for some reason I think I was calling him goofy in the room - I think I'm loosing it

I'd love to meet up with you I work days so I'm always a late night vmk owl.
