fireworks at MK in or out of park?

We are staying at POLY in May. There is not a spectro magic parade while we are there. We want to see fireworks at MK.
Should we watch them from beach at POLY or fight the crowds and watch them at MK. We have never seen fireworks at MK, appreciate your input. There will only be fireworks once during our trip. thanks.

There are lots of good places around to see the fireworks, the Poly is a good place on the beach and if the wind is blowing the right way you can usually hear the music. Also you might consider the Contemporary hotel on top where they pipe in the music. But the best place if you have a park ticket for MK you are using that day in inside the park where you can get the best view and sounds.

Actually, these days I don't think you can access the top of the Contemporary observation deck unless you are eating at California Grill (?).
In any case--the beach at the Poly is a perfect spot. When we used to stay there, that's where we always watched them.
