Fireworks and Timing for California Grill...opinions??

Granddaughter and I want to spend our first night at WDW having dinner at California Grill (9/19). Shows MK closes at 7pm and also shows on official schedule "no fireworks". If this is a nigt for MNSSHP what time would fireworks start? What time should we reserve at California Grill to see the fireworks from the terrace? We would plan to do the Halloween Party that night but probably do it later in the week (hoping that Friday) Thanks in advance for all help...

Probably MNSSHP
HalloWishes last year were 10:15 pm.
I would probably book around 8:30 pm for plenty of time to enjoy the meal,
and then we would be done in plenty of time before the fireworks.
Then you can just leave.
