Fireworks and Disney Transportation

We are leaving on Friday for our first vacation ever!! Can someone tell me if you've taken the bus transportation after watching fireworks events? We are staying at the CSR and was wondering if we'll need to cab it at any time. Thanks in advance!!

we'll be at CSR also. Arriving Saturday early afternoon and right off to MK. Buses run right after the fireworks, they will probably be very crowded right after the fireworks end since everyone is leaving at the same time.

We drive to Disney and then park our vehicle for the entire vacation because wherever you go at Disney you can use their transportation...it's great! Of course, you have to stay at one of the WDW resorts...have a great time!!!

The busses run for about an hour after park closing each night. No need for cabs unless you're at DTD or Boardwalk too late enjoying the night life (and actually, you can usually still get a bus from there, we always have, and we love the night life, we like to boogie.)

We are also arriving early afternoon. Our flight lands about 12:30pm. Taking the ME....Might see you there!

You will have no problem with the Disney transportation system. One of the things that has always amazed me is how well the folks at WDW move people from place to place within the resort. Like another poster said on this thread, I always drive to WDW and leave my car parked at my resort until I'm ready to go home.

And, as another poster pointed out, the busses run from each park for at least an hour after the park closes for the night, and longer than that if people are still waiting for a bus.

They do keep an eye on people, and crowds, throughout the WDW resort.

The buses are very crowded right after the fireworks. Stick around and do your shopping then or grab a bite at a baklery and then get in line for a bus. The buses aren't nearly as crowded about 30 minutes after the fireworks as right after. If you just have to get back right after the fireworks then stand near the front of the park and leave before they are done. You'll be at the begining of the line for the first bus back.
