We will be in WDW during New Years (we are staying on property) and are not sure we want to be in one of the o-so crowded parks with our 7yr old for the late night fireworks. My DH suggested maybe one of the resort beaches and getting ice cream or something like that and sitting on the beach watching the fireworks - is there such a place?????

You can see the fireworks great from the Poly's beach. You can also head over to the Boardwalk and see the high fireworks from the bridge and then play some boardwalk games.

I personally love watching them (for the MK) at the ferry landing.

For Epcot (which is where I would go for New Years) I'd go to the CBR beach.

We had a great view also from Poly's beach. Also seen the light parade on the lake right after. It was great. :Pinkbounc

From the other posters I would say the same thing.Thank's fellow Disers :goodvibes :wizard: :wave2:

Thanks everybody for your great ideas! I think we will partake of some sand and a snack and skip the Park chaos for New Years Eve. :cheer2:
