Which hotels (concierge or otherwise) can you see fireworks from?

We are thinking about going NYE 2009/2010 and there is no way I am going to take my kids to DL past mid afternoon that day. So, I think my best bet is to find a great room to have our own low key NYE celebration.

Thanks

You can get a great view of the "backside" of fireworks from the Sheraton Anaheim on Disneyland Drive (not the other Sheraton in Anaheim). Here's a map, the Sheraton being at the top. Note that you're closer to the fireworks launching platform than is Main Street!

We just stayed at the Fairfield Inn and there was a great view of the fireworks at Disneyland. The corridors are on the outside of the building, so even if you don't book a Disney view room, you can still watch from the side that has the view.

We had room 6001 at GC (concierge but you can probably get it non concierge) and we had an awesome view of fireworks and turned on the fireworks channel on the TV so we could have music too.:thumbsup2
