I heard on the most recent DIS Unplugged Disneyland Edition that during Thanksgiving week there will be two shows of various events. E.g. Fireworks, and Fantasmic. Have others heard the same? And if this is the case, how would you change your strategy for an optimal viewing of the various shows?

I believe this is confirmed on the Disneyland website, just have to pull up the schedule on their website for exact show times. As for a strategy I'm no help, sorry.

I noticed this too as we are looking at a possible trip then. My initial thoughts are that it's a really good thing to help with the crowds. Would love to hear other opinions.

Someone on another board pointed out that 2 fireworks shows will cause Toontown and Fantasyland to be closed for a huge part of each day. It should be interesting...

Very true. No biggie about Toontown IMO, but hopefully they don't shut down Fantasyland all night.

I'm thinking we will enjoy shorter wait lines on rides during the first showings and then hopefully smaller crowds when we watch the second showing. Does that sound like a decent strategy?

That's what I was thinking we would do as well. It's hard to know how many others are thinking the same thing.
