firewall now what do I do?

I installed the free Zone Alarm firewall protection and it worked great until yesterday. Now I can't get online if I have the Zone alarm up and running. After seeing how much it blocked I'm worried about doing my points sites if it's not on, but I can't get online if I have it on ~ HELP

I thought I'd start here since I got the link for the firewall off these boards. Didn't know if anyone else has experienced the same thing. Boy do I need a new computer SIGH.

I use Norton's firewall included on my computer when I bought it and have had no trouble with it what so ever.

I just do not know enough about how they work to venture a quess what you need to do.

What kind of computer do you have?

try checking your settings. i just had this problem and my firewall was blocking ALL internet access. i dont know how it happened but i have a 6 yr old that plays on the computer. anyway all i did was change the settings back to where they were supposed to be and all is well!

I have an HP. My son played on the computer right before I started having trouble so maybe that's the problem. But it asks if I'll let AOL access the internet and I always click yes. I'll check the whole thing out agaIN.
