Is the smoke/hot weather/fires/dust etc making it bad enough to consider it?
Should anyone cancel? We fly into LAX Wednesday night. Any idea who we could call for the most updated info on this stuff? I'm worried... :confused3 .

Oh my... just saw that buildings and homes have actually been destroyed. Stay safe down there, everyone!

its fine here. The wind is actually the major issue with Disneyland... i havent gone outside yet though...

just make sure you apply lotion to your entire body because the humidity is really really low... even i felt really dry and have a humidier running on high...

ill let you later on to see what outside is like...

Unless someone in your group has health issues or asthma, I would not cancel. LAX and Anaheim isn't in any danger from the fires, although they might be somewhat affected by smoke and winds.

Check with your airline to make sure your flight is proceeding as scheduled. Check LAX's website and see if they are reporting anything about flights (landing/takeoffs) being affected by the fires/smoke/wind. Just stay at top of things, but I think you should be fine.:thumbsup2

Three trees have fallen so far at DL, so just be carefull as there is no warning when it happens. I saw one fall last night, no warning. Luckily no one was hurt. The winds are suppose to be at their worst Tuesday and it's suppose to be very hot. The air is just real bad tonight.

The Santa Ana winds are expected to abate by Wednesday afternoon. You should be fine.

I wouldn't cancel but just be aware of what you are going to get yourself into. The fires are getting pretty bad that it will take a while to get them all under control even if the winds die down. The air will be bad...no question about that.

It seems bizarre that we are flying INTO a place where they are evacuating people OUT of. How close are the fires to DL? I'm not totally up on my SO CA geography I must admit. And the winds... how can the planes land safely? We are flying onto LAX. Can you tell I'm a bit worried? Thanks for any info or opinion.
