Fireplug's paint can birthday gift

My DH's (fireplug - aka squid) first attempt at altered paint cans - a bday gift for his dad -- took pics from their Canadian trip and added frames,stickers,etc (gotta love that Michael's store) then loaded it with his dad's favorite pipe tobaccos -- let him know what you think

That is very nice! Tell your DH that he did a very good job. I tried my hand at doing an altered can, but it didn't look nearly as good as his. I may start working on another one.

I got that one at Lowes about$5 Question for you, what paint are you talking about? The one I did was all paper product and double stick tape.

oooh squid it's paper? i saw one on another board where she painted her's a pretty purple, i just assumed that's how you did it. i did not realize yours was done with paper and tape! great job! thanks for the idea!

He liked it a lot! I gave it to him last week and he liked the fishing motif. But I am sure he liked the pipe tobacco in it more
